Essay Topic Issues
Essay Topic IssuesWhen writing an argumentative essay, there are a few point issues to consider. Each argumentative essay has a set of three main theme issues which may appear in different essay styles. The three main theme issues are the person, process and message. Each of these topic issues is important to consider because they indicate the nature of the research project or thesis in question. In addition, the approach you use will influence how your essay is written. The three issues will be discussed further below.Topic issues are quite subjective and often difficult to define. However, the topics can be listed from most specific to least specific. For example, theses is a topic issue, and theses is a topic issue. Perhaps the easiest of the topic issues to identify is 'person' because that is the first thing people learn when they begin college.'Person' is the first topic issue. This is very broad and may reflect several issues including ability, respect, uniqueness, power, domin ance, competitiveness, power, culture, education, personal needs, community, religion, family, society, etc. Whatever your topic is, you should include the person you studied as a student.Process issues are not as easily defined. However, a common process involves learning, comprehension, logic, discourse, interpretation, and remembering. Again, this is highly subjective and depends on the student, but often has a strong impact on the thesis topic. Thus, it is important to consider this issue. Other common process issues involve individual expression, self-representation, knowledge communication, thought initiation, interpretation, fact generation, recall, validity, etc.The next set of theme issues is the topic of argument. Thisis the aspect of the thesis essay that focuses on the idea, reason, or language of the thesis. One theme issue that may be worth mentioning is 'context'. As a student you need to understand the context of your learning environment, which is often a strong mot ivator for essay writing. The argumentative essay, therefore, has many theme issues, but only one issue. The topic is either 'essay'argument'. The argumentative essay is what I call a general argument; the essay is called a specific essay. Finally, the third issue is the delivery of the essay, and it is done in many ways. Some people prefer a shorter form, some prefer a longer form, while others prefer to deliver the essay in written form alone.
